WRITTEN TRAGEDIAS

ACT I Ryan Mcafee a Black male (25), meets Grace Velez (28) a Hispanic female, and they bond learning each writes poetry. Ryan, and his friends, stop at the neighborhood store and rob a soccer player who is Grace's little brother. And later that night Ryan's friend is shot in front of a run-down community center. So as the friend heals, Ryan and Grace grow close, learn each's language and culture through their writing, and soon develop feelings for one another. ACT II Ryan and Grace join the city in the rebuilding of the community center but despite their utopia, information detailing Ryan's friend's attempted murderer is learned. So Ryan is hit with a real deja vu when he and his friends ride the same road he dropped Grace off one night and Ryan aids in a double murder at Grace's brother's soccer game. And Ryan notices Grace's doubt returning; her questions and distancing but when Ryan's friends are arrested and he becomes the middle man, Grace recognizes her brother's girlfriend's voice during the exchange with Ryan for his friend's bail money. So Ryan's friends "get out of jail" and during the party Ryan allows his friend to drive them to the store. Unbeknownst Grace's little brother comes inside the store and recognizes Ryan's friend arguing with the clerk... So when Ryan's friend exits the store, Grace's little brother follows him and kills Ryan's friend in cold blood. Ryan quitting his job and working at the community center destroys Grace, so she does the same and learns from Ryan's her brother is his friend's murderer. ACT III So things change, Six months later, Ryan witnesses his friend's ex-girlfriend pregnant on tv alongside Grace and Acitoe. And at Ryan's new job as a cook, he is reintroduced to Grace as a new hire. So Ryan admits to his friend that he may have a child on the way and when was the last he spoke with Grace's brother's wife. And one night after closing Ryan and Grace struggle for solutions to clear up the madness but Grace's brother arrives and threatens Ryan with a bat. Ryan is ready for war but is taken aback when his friend panics for a ride because Grace's brother's wife is in labor. So all things are tested when Ryan's friend and Grace's brother both submit to a DNA test and it confirms neither of them is the father.
