Synopsis/Details
Private detective Dan Stone's newest client, Mr. Angell, proves himself to truly be an angel. He needs Stone's help to find the box which contains peace on Earth and goodwill toward men, which has been lost. Without it, Christmas will be blah this year. Angell claims to have a sixth sense about the box, but all the Earth's technology is messing with it, leaving him dependent on Stone's skills.
Eventually, they post an ad on Craigslist, which brings a ragtag group of people to Stone's office, every one of them with some kind of box. With the office cleared out, a shy woman - Mary Ann - raps on the door and presents the box she found in her back yard. It is the one! It is opened, and - starting at the office - all the good things of Christmas pour out and start to flood the world with the magic of the holiday.
Angell thanks Stone and disappears with the box. Mary Ann emerges from the time freeze Angell had started. Stone, a widow, asks if she might accompany him to dinner. She accepts, and they happily depart.
