Synopsis/Details
A lack luster magician with a tragic past takes his career to new heights when he loses what little left in his life he has in less than twenty-four hours. Something inside Charles Higman snaps and he decides to change the direction of his show by taking lives in his act on stage in front of a live audience. He is almost taken down by a rookie detective, but narrowly escapes.
Almost thirty years later and Charles Higman, now known as Abra-Cadaver, is back at it again and this time on live stream internet for the entire world to see. Somehow the rookie detective's, now a hot shot detective, family is drug into the mix and may be the next "stars" on the magic gore show. Detective Reuben races against time to find the location of the broadcast before his loved one's become the next days news.
A few period pieces (late 50's and mid 80's). The 50's piece is very short and the 80's piece is about 1/3 of the film. The film is in the vein of The Prestige meets SAW. Plenty of gore and stuff to make you cringe, but nothing sexual, dirty and language is at a minimal.
Surprises and twists. Extreme shock value. Not for the faint of heart.
