Amy is on parole and in possession of a few small sell bags when she is picked up Harrison a detective wanting her as a confidential informant. Agreeing to work for Harrison she is released and immediately contacts her friend Isaac, her connection to an Ukrainian drug importer (Yuri). She is told that Doug wants to sees her. She goes to see Doug on the way to Isaac's to drop off the money. Doug sends her to drop a car off to Karl, Doug hired muscle. To avoid raising Doug's suspicion Amy is forced to leave Ella and the money at Doug's house. This sets off a race against the clock to get back and get the money to Isaac before Yuri's men turn up with the drugs. Amy makes the mistake of offering a deal to Karl. While going to pick up a car with Karl offsider (Jonas) Karl informs Doug. Karl contacts Jonas, Amy's paranoia makes her panic and shoots Jonas. Amy can't go back to her money and forced to try and raise more money from her buyers. This backfires resulting in a failed ambush of Yuri's gang. Beth, Doug's girlfriend attempts to beat information out of Amy's little sister, which Doug takes offence too. As the noose closes on Amy she realises that everyone she loves is better off without her. She sets out to get revenge for her sister (not knowing her sister is okay), an sacrifices herself to break Ella free from the life Amy had misguidedly setup.

The Writer: Craig Griffiths

I am a writer of features that are very tone and character focused. I write characters and let them inform plot. I have a few short films out on the web. Search Youtube for me and you should find "Blood Brother" and "The change in me". IMDB is where you can find details of my features released and in production. I have a books on Amazon including "Writing Screenplays with Intelligence" and "Logline". Writing Screenplays with Intelligence is a set of tools I used in my career as an intelligence analyst and how they can be used to develop characters and write screenplays. Logline is a great set of tools and things to consider when writing a logline or a script. I have a YouTube channel… Go to bio
