Synopsis/Details
The story unfolds in real-time within the confines of a basement, where Darryl, a small-time drug dealer, rules his world with a mix of arrogance and cruelty. His domain is a smoke-filled den of video games, drugs, and empty beer cans, where he holds court with his childhood friend and partner-in-crime, Ryan. Darryl’s world revolves around control—over his girlfriend, Sharice, his business, and his so-called "kingdom." But control, as the night unfolds, is nothing more than an illusion. When Sharice arrives after a tense phone call, the stage is set for a night of explosive revelations. Darryl’s disrespect and Ryan’s quiet resentment simmer beneath the surface, ready to boil over. What begins as another evening of domination and degradation spirals into a blood-soaked power struggle. Ryan, tired of playing second fiddle and fueled by Sharice’s promises, turns the tables with a gun and a plan. But Sharice, the underestimated pawn in Darryl’s game, has her own agenda—and her own trigger finger. As bullets fly and alliances shatter, Gnarly, a shadowy figure orchestrating the chaos from the sidelines, emerges to claim his prize. The basement becomes a slaughterhouse, and each character’s true colors are revealed in a hail of gunfire and betrayal. By dawn, three bodies lie still, and the only thing left standing is the chilling truth: in a world where trust is currency, everyone is both the betrayer and the betrayed.
