Synopsis/Details
Ted works constantly, often leaving Jane alone. Eventually, Jane gets curious and ventures online. She's heard of dating apps, so does some research on the subject to know more of the details. Her curiosity leads her to a few dating apps, where she decides to set up a profile "just for fun" to meet other people, mainly for casual conversation and company, feeling often alone while Ted always works. She mentions nothing to Ted about her new hobby and interest, thinking it to be nothing but casual conversation and friendship. In no time, guys respond to Jane's profile. She's excited to engage, to have company while Ted mainly works to uphold their lifestyle. She has no intention to cheat, otherwise to let things get out of control. Innocently, she seeks companionship. Females and men think differently, so obviously have different intentions as to why they DO and join things. Jane and Chris really hit it off. Chris is seeking long term companionship, and Jane fits his ideal female. In a short space, they share in many common interests and are amused by the same things, why feelings inside unconsciously develop between them. Jane begins to feel guilty, as inside, she Now feels different about Chris, when at first her only interest was "to seek someone to talk to and share her mind with." Chris sees Jane differently. Now Chris begins to say things that reflect his true feelings. Jane doesn't know what to do or say to Chris ( whom she met online ), as Ted has No idea what she is into while he's at work. Jane Now acts awkward with Ted, feeling guilty about her online dating profile. She thinks to delete the account, but now she's emotionally attached to Chris who has No idea of Ted. Now caught in the middle, Jane is confused, torn inside with regards to her true feelings. She feels trapped, worse than when she started using dating apps, moreover Jane doesn't know what to do, as this dating app venture now has her arguing with Ted.
