His parents decide to surprise him with first and last rent to vacate, saying take care of you, “you’re on your own!” Flex, now 5’10, age 20-27, a bit sloppy and out of shape, living on his own, into a cramped room inside a flat a good distance from his parents. Nila withdraws her affection, and their constant separation destroys the relationship. One day it breaks permanently. Flex reacts by deeper immersing himself into virtual reality, utterly possessed, he has no time for anything. Flex lives the lazy lifestyle. He’s the type, that eats and falls asleep before the idiot box – GAMING! His room remains a hot mess, not living with his parents deteriorates his existence. He’s a game geek, loud when he plays, possessed and amused by games. Flex plays like into an IMAX Theater, deeply immersed, he feels the entire experience. Flex is obsessed, nothing passes through his mind when gaming, addicted like a sports fan to the game. Soon thereafter, condo owner Ricardo addresses Flex’s rowdy behavior. Now forced to leave! Flex lands another job, doing clean up and shampooing cars, where he learns to drive, having to transport cars in need of repair. Annie understands guys and gaming, BUT Flex pushes her too far, always consumed, distracted and forgetful, greatly upsets her, so she tells him about it. Nothing changes, Flex fails to get Annie’s message, so after a few months, Annie abruptly moves out. Flex is left alone, AGAIN. The bills Annie was good at balancing, are Now left to him. Flex finds himself stuck with rent and car payments. He sells his car, desperate to pay the bills. One night walking to soothe his mind, Flex stumbles on a flyer on the sidewalk. He picks it up, it says, Sportsbook, online/mobile sports betting. He’s familiar, but has never gambled or had reason to. He loads his phone, selecting a Sportsbook from a comprehensive array of sports. Flex verifies his location and registers an account. He sacrifices his first deposit, placing several bets at once… then waits. Eager to test his luck, Flex checks his account. By chance, Flex wins $5,000. Mind-blown about winning, he wagers online, using $2,000 more to pay bills. Flex decides to sacrifice more on bets.
