Synopsis/Details
THEY LIVE meets STRANGER THINGS meets THE TERMINATOR - Back story: In the early 1950s, scientists began working with subatomic particles. They debated if they could recreate the Big Bang, and that's exactly what they set out to do. In 1954, the first particle accelerator was turned on. It had the strength to smash together two protons. This resulted in the creation of a wormhole, which connected to a hyper-dimensional reality. That wormhole opened a doorway for the Possessors, wicked extradimensional beings, with the ability to enter and control the human mind, to cross into our world. They began with the scientists and government officials in the lab, and then spread out to high-ranking political figures, the military, law enforcement, and even the wealthy and elite, to form a union known as the New World Order. This group of rich and powerful minions secretly works in the shadows, to create a one-world government, and achieve complete power over humanity. Summary: As a child from New York City, all Christina knew was fear and loneliness. Kidnapped as a newborn, she spent her adolescence ushered between impostor parents or lost in the system of Government-backed institutions. Haunted by wicked apparitions since birth, she was labeled as insane. After a stint in an asylum, where she's fed pills to suppress the visions, she escapes into the night. Raised in Los Angeles, Jory lives a normal life. He's a simple guy, who dreams of a good job, marriage, and settling down. That all changes the day he stands over a murdered friend, a bloody knife in his hand, and no recollection of what happened. He runs from the authorities, and spins down a rabbit hole of conspiracy theories, in search of an answer to what happened that day. As a young adult, Christina now lives in EAST BERLIN, GERMANY. She's a starving artist and has run out of pills, with no way to get more. The terrifying visions are back! She confides in her eccentric neighbor, Jory, who introduces her to an open-minded group of people, and an array of new-age practices. But when Christina and Jory determine that the entities are real, they take it upon themselves to find the truth and discover a world that exists on the fringe of society, and extradimensional beings, which are hell-bent on taking over our universe. Jory will have to face what really happened the day he murdered his friend, and Christina will make the ultimate choice - us or them.
