Eden's Glitch: The Savior Cell

This is a quick story, part of an anthology. Dr. Vonstein found a way to clone Jesus, but things only get worse at the promise of the new savior. When Dr. Vonstein found a way to clone Jesus Christ, the world began to go into hysterics. Crowds scramble to touch him, newscasts broadcast him 24/7. Dr. Vonstein just wanted to bring peace into the world, but the people have a much darker use. Whoever owns the growing Jesus cell owns the world. Two government agencies begin to fight to buy Jesus and own the rights to him. In the end, Vonstein needs to make the ultimate sacrifice and destroy his project. Christ was meant to be followed by the people, but instead, they wanted a slave.
