Joseph Murillo is a horror writer with an M.F.A. in Screenwriting from CSU Northridge. In 2022, his horror/sci-fi script, The Colony, won Best Sci-fi Feature at the HorrOrigins Film Festival. A proof of concept was produced for his horror script, Cryptids, for winning the Reno-Tahoe Screenplay competition in 2023. Most recently, his horror/fantasy script, Forged in Blood, was featured in the 2024 BloodList.
