Synopsis/Details:

Santa's reindeer catch the flu and cannot make their usual Christmas Eve run. Desperate to find another way to deliver his presents to the good little boys and girls of the world, Santa meets an elf named Melvin. Melvin has an idea to save Christmas - mechanical reindeer. With no other option, Santa agrees to Melvin's plan in order to avoid cancelling Christmas. Melvin, who is afraid of heights, is guilted into accompanying Santa on his journey.

Things go fairly well until Santa and Melvin are heading home. The sleigh starts bucking due to a power problem in Robot Rudolph. Melvin has to try to fix the reindeer in flight. As they lose power and go into a dive, the sleigh stops in mid-air! Melvin is able to make his way back to Santa's sleigh. Suddenly, four stars approach and attach themselves to the sleigh's runners. The stars tow the sleigh back to the North Pole.

With Santa and Melvin wondering what just happened, a voice booms from the heavens saying that it could not allow any harm to befall the two people who had done so much to honor his son's birthday.
