Synopsis/Details
The story opens with Myron, a charismatic entrepreneur with a flawless exterior, preparing to propose to his wife, Rebecca, with a $50,000 ring. His voice-over reveals a dark twist: their love began at a swinger party, and despite his wealth and devotion, he suspects Rebecca’s loyalty is tied more to his bank account than his heart. As he drives through the city, reflecting on their open marriage, Myron’s internal conflict sets the stage for a night of revelations. Meanwhile, Rayven, a stunning Latina sipping a Grand Margarita at a jazz bar, engages in a sharp-witted exchange with Gregory, a self-assured player. Her voice-over unveils a woman’s perspective on cheating—smooth, calculated, and driven not by passion but by a search for security. The arrival of a female poet’s haunting performance, “Chasing Death,” stirs Rayven’s emotions, forcing her to confront her own shadows. Across town, Marquez, a muscular gym enthusiast, locks eyes with Jaslyin, a sweat-drenched beauty. His bold approach and her biting retort expose the shallow games of attraction, where physicality overshadows genuine connection. Each character’s narrative intertwines, revealing a tapestry of infidelity, self-deception, and the quest for something real.
