Synopsis/Details

Steve returns to his hometown in a southern New Jersey beach community to regroup after being laid off from his swanky Manhattan ad agency job. Eager to get back to city life, but broke, Steve decides to help his friend, a local ladies man who owns a failing landscaping company that's under constant threat from a rival lawn care business owned by Mike, a meathead who used to pick on Steve in high school. Steve learns to bloom where he's planted, while learning of Mike's greedy plan to convert the area's lawns to artificial turf. Will Steve become a champion of nature and stop Mike's plan of forever blighting the community's landscape?

The Writer: Steve Cleary

Hi, I write original shorts, features and sketches that can be described as dry, offbeat, irreverent and crowd-pleasing. Most of my material on here is available for FREE, as is. Just let me know you're interested in using it. I write, direct and star in my own self-funded, independent action/adventure/comedy web series . Would love if you'd check it out and drop a sub to show support. If you are a screenwriter yourself, I've created some tools to help you manage screenwriting and other creative projects . Please feel free to reach out in a private message or via any of my links. Thanks, -Steve www.stevecleary.com Go to bio
