When Miller is found murdered the next morning, Jack's world shatters. He's led away in handcuffs by the cold, calculating DETECTIVE CASTILLANOS.
While Jack languishes in a holding cell, Trinisys prepares to launch its revolutionary NEURAL INTERFACE—a direct brain-computer connection promising to transform how humanity experiences the digital world. Behind this technological marvel stands SENATOR RUSSELLS, a calculating political powerhouse with presidential ambitions, whose campaign is inexplicably tied to the device's success.
SARAH HARPER, a tenacious investigative reporter with southern charm and razor-sharp instincts, uncovers a connection between Jack and the mysterious death at Trinisys—the man who fell was the father of Jack's murdered student. When Sarah helps Jack escape Castillanos' trap, they form an unlikely alliance.
Together, they infiltrate Trinisys and discover the terrifying truth: the Neural Interface, combined with a neural catalyst secretly added to Fizz Cola, creates a direct pathway for mass mind control. Senator Russells plans to use this technology to manipulate the entire nation into electing him president.
