Synopsis/Details:
Earl Williby, a man desperate for attention and validation from his wife, Myrtle, stages an elaborate ruse by faking his own suicide to test her love and concern. However, his deceptive plan backfires dramatically when he receives news of Myrtle's sudden heart attack after learning of her husband's death. As Earl grapples with the unintended consequences of his actions, he is driven to desperation. Seeking a way out of the tangled web he has created, he contemplates faking his own suicide again, but this time for real.
