Synopsis/Details
It’s the 1980s, a time of big hair, popped collars, and unchecked cruelty. Enter Monica Bomer, a morbidly obese high school student who has suffered a lifetime of bullying.
When Paul, a new student, successfully defends Monica from the angry taunting of high school jock and super douchebag Randy, Monica falls hard for him. But Randy doesn’t take defeat well and is soon out for revenge.
First, he gets his crew to beat up Paul, then they corner Monica on a bridge and cause her to fall 30 feet.
When she lands, her fat literally explodes from her body!
Somehow Monica survives, falling into a deep coma. But while she seems out of the game, her now ‘free-range’ fat most definitely is not. Telekinetically controlled by Monica’s subconscious, the fat stalks and kills those responsible for tormenting her.
As the fat blob grows to monstrous proportions, sucking the fat from its victims, the body count ratchets up quickly. It’s up to Paul, the handsome new guy in town with the bitchin’ hair, to save the day!
With the help of a dorky sidekick and a local Indian Chief who knows Monica better than anyone, Paul discovers Monica’s awful history – which includes cannibalism and the supernatural! Racing to the hospital, they hope to awaken Monica from her coma and convince her to stop the murderous blubber.
But Monica has no intention of stopping anything. She’s got bigger plans for her blobby pet. Now Paul and his friends must find a way to not just stop the fat from consuming the town, but the entire world!
