Synopsis/Details
Scarlett Jones isn’t your average executive at Brandt Industries. She’s a thirty-something tour de force who stops at nothing to put her best abilities out front. New to the company, she quickly makes her way through the ranks, but her latest promotion comes at a cost. Her boss and CEO, Barney Brandt, is just another sexual predator in a long history of predators in Scarlett’s life, and she’s had enough. Determined to one day settle scores with Brandt Industries, she quits her job and heads out on the road in her convertible Mustang to distance herself from the corporate world and the endless confrontations. She escapes the life she had and ventures out to start anew. In her quest, she encounters Erylis, last of the vampires, who rescues her from a horrible car accident. Erylis offers her a new life and a chance to make right those events that brought her so much pain. Scarlett accepts and goes through the process of transforming and is given a new home in the city. A year has passed, Scarlett has amassed quite a kill count due to her need to feed. Anthony James, local detective hot shot and widower, tracks Scarlett and her activities as she targets only those who engage in nefarious sexual activities and trafficking. Anthony soon finds that Scarlett is actually cleaning up the streets where the police could not because their hands are tied when it comes to the trafficking world. He slowly assumes a level of attraction and admiration for Scarlett and his boss and chief investigator can see the writing on the wall. Scarlett’s memory from the transition has slowly returned and she discovered that non other than Barney Brandt is involved in a high stakes trafficking operation and has partnered with art tycoon, Harlan Glass. Together they run an underground gallery that features models to be bid on and sold to high profile money men and politicians. Knowing that they house and contain many innocent models at Harlan’s gallery warehouse, Scarlett makes it her mission to take down the operation and rescue the models. Scarlett’s attempt to raid one of Harlan’s gala events fails miserably and Scarlett barely escapes from Harlan’s tight security team. On a second attempt, she has the help of a returning Erylis who has promised to help her take down Harlan and Barney. Anthony also makes his presence known for the grand showdown and ends up taking a bullet while taking out Harlan. In order for Anthony to survive, Scarlett must make the choice to offer her blood and bring him into her new world. With Harlan’s thugs dispatched, Barney Brandt taken out in a one-on-one fight with Scarlett, and the models freed from captivity, Scarlett makes the choice to convert Anthony and save him from certain and permanent death. The last of the vampires is now three, and the team will live on to clean up the filth in the streets.
