Synopsis/Details
In a bad snowstorm, a man heads to a remote diner to meet a woman from his past. Long ago, he wronged her, and he is anxious to make amends. While waiting, he purchases some gumbo from one of the waitresses, not knowing that she - in reality, the woman from his past - has spiked it with a deadly drug. As he collapses and dies, the waitress remarks how her fellow worker's ex will be here tomorrow night. As they carry the body of the dead man back to the kitchen, she says, grabbing a cleaver, that it's a good thing they all "taste like chicken."
