Synopsis/Details
A young program developer at an upstart TV network is very surprised when his eccentric boss asks him to help develop a game show where the losers will die. One of his co-workers assures him that he is taking the boss too seriously. Powerful though he is, he is not immune to the law. The young developer takes comfort in this until, returning from a trip, he sees the first episode of the series - wherein one of his co-workers dies in a see-through piranha tank. The next morning, there is one less desk in their shared office, and no one else seems to remember the murdered man. He confronts his boss. His co-worker had to take the place of the scheduled no-show contestant. Until the end, he didn't think he was truly going to die either. At gunpoint, the boss forces the young developer to play the game. If he can answer the trivia question correctly and keep his mouth shut, he and his loved ones - like his wife - will be allowed to live. When the developer gets the answer correct, the boss drops him into the piranha tank anyway, reasoning that he would never have kept his mouth shut.
