The Fixer

Jeff Healy is worried about his son, Alex’s, future. To that end, he visits Look Ahead Enterprises – a company which can provide brief peaks into the probable future.

He is shocked to see that Alex’s future involves killing his mother, Trish – Jeff’s wife. He contacts a “fixer,” someone who can alter the future, to prevent this from happening. He follows all the fixer’s instructions. One morning, Alex demands money from his parents at gunpoint. He owes someone dangerous money, and he’s scared.

The fixer appears at the house and manages to get Healy a gun, which he reluctantly uses to shoot his son and save his wife.

Healy receives a call from the fixer mentioning that his account is paid in full, and the case is now considered closed.
