A Fun Fantasy Caper Buddy Action etc. at a Modest-Budget Just when you thought you had the present all worked out, the future comes along to screw it up! Imagine a master thief's final big heist, accomplices who won't let him quit, and a time-travelling cop trying to solve the crime from two decades later. In what becomes a crazy cop-and-crook buddy story, the thief, wanting to become a reformed family man with a baby on the way, balances trying to outwit the cop against returning the loot. Meanwhile, the near-retirement, time-jumping investigator's chances to gather facts are quickly becoming limited by Statutes, even as he finds it hard to stay detached from the fates of those he meets in the past.
