Synopsis/Details

Four characters are seen only as single, different-colored gloves – a mother, a father, a son, and a daughter.
Something unseen is being brought up from the basement for decorating. Sadly, it is not in the best shape, but the parents decide it’ll have to do.

The kids have a hard time decorating the thing. It is fragile, and there aren’t many good places to hang the baubles.

Once done, the father steps back to admire his family’s work. It is then that we see what they were decorating: A deteriorating, male, human corpse. The father is slowly revealed as a one-handed alien, just like his wife and children.
Dad can probably order a fresh display for next time – maybe even a female one. Since his people’s invasion of Earth, there are many bodies to choose from.
