Synopsis/Details
Henry R. Whitney, famed author and one lonely human being, lives a quiet, remote life in his one bedroom apartment. One day, after being hit on by a barista at his local coffee house, he discovers that said woman and her roommate live next door to him, Stacy and Hilary. The ladies try to figure this strange man out, a person who seems to just want to be left alone. Stacy sees something more in him and wants to find out the truth. The movie is a character-driven piece, simple on a story, rich with personality, as we discover traits in others that, while we don't understand, we have to learn to respect. Stacy simply wishes to find out more about a man who is so distant, so incapable of love (or chooses to ignore it) that it almost seems impossible for such a person to exist. A funny, harsh, and sometimes heartwarming tale of human nature.

The Writer: Evan Filley

I was born in California, but spent my formitive years in a small town located in Maine. I have been writing short stories since i was probably 8 years old, I have always had great enjoyment telling stories to make my friends laugh, but now as I've grown older, many genres have made me want to continue to write more and more. While being a director would be an amazing achievement for me and my family, my first and foremost passion has been script writing, since I was 12 years old, and discovered the art. When I saw JAWS for the first time, that was the film that clicked with me, and something went off in my head that said 'that's what I want to do, what Mr. Spielberg does, I want that.'… Go to bio
