Synopsis/Details
In the near future, a mad scientist known as Henry Swanson creates the ultimate weapon in his eyes, a large 25-foot freshwater octopus, the first of its kind. The beast has a thirst for blood that cannot be quenched. When it escapes from its tank one lonely night under the watchful eye of the doctor, the town of Devil's Lake becomes threatened, and as people go missing, two local police officers do their best to find out where the missing have gone. When one such missing is found chewed up and torn apart, theories are spread all over the place, and it seems all fingers point to the strange man who lives in a mansion on top of the hill in town, that man being Henry Swanson. It is in the vein of all those great cheesy monster films of the late '50s and early '60s, but with the added vulgarity of a Troma picture. It may not be high class, but it sure is the lowest form of fun one could have.

The Writer: Evan Filley

I was born in California, but spent my formitive years in a small town located in Maine. I have been writing short stories since i was probably 8 years old, I have always had great enjoyment telling stories to make my friends laugh, but now as I've grown older, many genres have made me want to continue to write more and more. While being a director would be an amazing achievement for me and my family, my first and foremost passion has been script writing, since I was 12 years old, and discovered the art. When I saw JAWS for the first time, that was the film that clicked with me, and something went off in my head that said 'that's what I want to do, what Mr. Spielberg does, I want that.'… Go to bio
