Alston Ballard, known simply as The Vermin, has murdered four people in cold blood. In the middle of London England, circa 1894, the local police are baffled by this madman and will do what they can to find him. With the killer leaving cryptic notes on his victims, it's only a matter of time until more bodies continue to emerge. What the cops don't know, is that The Vermin has a very special method of killing his victims. Below his house, he has a pit, filled with bloodthirsty rats, who will do whatever they can to get their next meal. A story of murder, mayhem, and a distributed maniac, this dark story will leave anyone who reads it dirty and uncomfortable.
