Synopsis/Details
Herman and Maddie are life long best friends. They have opened up their brand new motel, a triumph in their collective careers, and with the 4th of July weekend upon them, they want to make sure their place is as good as it can be. One night, a couple of drifters rent a room for the night, the motel's first customers. When the couple takes a dip in the pool, they are eaten alive by a monstrous being that has taken shelter in the brand new pool. When Herman and Maddie discover blood and fingernails by the edge of the pool, they panic and do everything they can to hide any evidence of their customer's existence. When a pair of cops begin their investigations into a murder than has happened over by another motel in the area, they rent a room in Herman and Maddie's place, and they start to worry they may discover that they have hidden a secret. Unknown to all is that the creature has no plans of going away, and all hell breaks loose when a bus full of party goers arrive for the weekend. Will Maddie and Herman discover what they have hidden in their pool before it is too late?

The Writer: Evan Filley

I was born in California, but spent my formitive years in a small town located in Maine. I have been writing short stories since i was probably 8 years old, I have always had great enjoyment telling stories to make my friends laugh, but now as I've grown older, many genres have made me want to continue to write more and more. While being a director would be an amazing achievement for me and my family, my first and foremost passion has been script writing, since I was 12 years old, and discovered the art. When I saw JAWS for the first time, that was the film that clicked with me, and something went off in my head that said 'that's what I want to do, what Mr. Spielberg does, I want that.'… Go to bio
