Synopsis/Details
The year is 1995, just about twenty years from when the town of Amity suffered at the jaws of a monstrous Great White Shark that claimed the lives of 7 people. Now, with the town's economy finally booming again, Chief of Police Shawn McKenzie and his team, Officers Frank Mansfield and Brad Harrington, are hoping for a solid summer. Unknown to them, a terror is lurking out in their waters and is looking to make itself at home. When one of the local town drunks goes missing, it kicks off a series of disappearances, which leads the police to think the worst. As they scramble to try and find these people, the beast continues to take lives, and with the arrival of nearly 4 ferries worth of people impending, they will stop at nothing to find whoever, or whatever, is behind it all. Focusing more on suspense and sheer terror, Jaws From the Deep (ignoring all previous sequels) acts a straight direct sequel to the '75 masterpiece and looks to usher in a new generation of terror.

The Writer: Evan Filley

I was born in California, but spent my formitive years in a small town located in Maine. I have been writing short stories since i was probably 8 years old, I have always had great enjoyment telling stories to make my friends laugh, but now as I've grown older, many genres have made me want to continue to write more and more. While being a director would be an amazing achievement for me and my family, my first and foremost passion has been script writing, since I was 12 years old, and discovered the art. When I saw JAWS for the first time, that was the film that clicked with me, and something went off in my head that said 'that's what I want to do, what Mr. Spielberg does, I want that.'… Go to bio
