Synopsis/Details
BILL and his daughter VALLERY have been on the run for years, although she just thinks her dad is in the military and 'orders are orders' as he likes to say. They move often, quickly, and without warning, narrowly avoiding DOKKALFAR, a dark elf tracker that is one step behind them. Deep beneath the surface of the world, Dokkalfar updates TYR, ex-God of War on his apparent lack of progress. In addition to the assassin, Tyr has recruited DVERGAR, a dwarven warrior, and JOTUN, a Frost Giant barbarian, to serve him. Evidence left behind at Bill's last house reveals that Vallery is still oblivious to her father's true nature, and her true power. The search for Bill continues. Exhausted, Bill seeks refuge with an old friend. LOKI, a Trickster God and shapechanger that lives off-grid in an old farmhouse. His son ZEEK, is a prophet of sorts and can predict things before they happen, but neither of them is prepared for company. There is an unofficial rule against God's gathering to prevent 'the balance' from being risked - the balance is a natural order projected and protected by the Gods. But Tyr has been hunting down Gods for years, and no one knows why. Soon after arriving, Dokkalfar catches up to them on the farm. The fight is brutal, as Bill and Loki team up, kicking off decades of rust to fight back. About to die, Bill is saved at the last moment by Vallery when her powers suddenly manifest and she hurls lightning at Dokkalfar, who soon dies. With no choice but to explain things, Bill lays out the truth for Vallery - she is a half-god (like Hercules) and has magic powers (like flight, lightning, and more). Vallery's mom died in childbirth. Bill inherited his powers from Tyr, his older brother, who has been hankering to get them back since. Angry with her father for lying, Vallery nonetheless allows him to train her in her newfound abilities. Meanwhile, Tyr, now without a tracker, hunts down ODIN, his father, now living in a senior center and hating every minute of it. Tyr convinces Odin that things will be better after Ragnarok, and all Odin has to do is use his magical ravens to hunt down Thor. Odin reluctantly agrees, betraying Bill. Now aware of their location, Tyr sends Valkeries (angelic women) against Bill. They barely fend them off and now realize Tyr is coming, but rather than run like always, they decide to stand and fight. After putting together the clues they realize Tyr's plan - to bring about the end of the world (Ragnarok) by killing Bill, the last of four 'balance' Gods - Famine, Death, Pestilence, and War. Tyr uses FREDA, Goddess of Love, to deceive Bill and get his hammer away from him. Bill sends Vallery away for her protection. Tyr arrives at the farm and confronts Bill. A battle ensues between Bill, Loki, Dvergar, Jotun, Odin, and Tyr. When things look grim, Vallery returns. Tyr moves to kill Bill, but realizes that Bill has already given Vallery his powers. Tyr stabs Bill. Vallery realizes that Tyr is just a man and manifests her full powers, destroying him to maintain balance. In the aftermath, Bill and Vallery make amends. Months later, Vallery joins the army, the new Goddess of War.

The Writer: Caleb Dillon

Caleb Dillon is an award-winning multi-hypenate filmmaker developing projects in North Carolina. Hailing from a long tradition of storytellers, Caleb grew up in rural Appalachia, listening to his kin spin yarns from porch swings and rockers; a skill he now puts to good use.
