Bingo Night

The bingo game at the nursing home is on. The gathered residents all sit with onlookers - big bruisers of guys - beside them to make sure they follow the rules.

Seventy-five-year-old Herman doesn't want to be there. As the numbers are called onstage by a government agent, Herman's onlooker "reminds" him how to play. After a while, Herman gets a bingo. When the numbers are verified, he is asked to choose. He looks at his fellow residents, remembering happy times for all of them. When the agent insists, Herman chooses himself. He is quickly wheeled out of the home's common room to who knows where.

One of the lady residents mentions what a nice guy he was and how much she'll miss him. Another wishes he would have chosen her, but tries to remain cheerful by mentioning that there's always next week.
