Synopsis/Details
A small group of self-proclaimed entrepreneurs ride in a party bus to what they think will be their luxurious new digs provided by the producers of reality TV show Boss House. Instead they are confined in a converted warehouse and forced to compete in a series of contests where losing leads to a death sentence. The host is superstar motivational speaker and supreme asshole Brent Goodman, author of the bestseller How to Be More Like Me - A Winner Shares His Winning Secrets. As Brent dishes out abuse and scathing appraisals the contestants have to take it with a smile. Not only is he a wealth guru they semi-worship, but he decides who lives and who dies in the Boss House. The contestants, two women and six men, are obnoxious self-absorbed type A personalities who signed up for Boss House hoping to promote their “brand”.
The competitors scramble to make alliances with one another and present themselves as something which they are not - trustworthy. Each shares exaggerated war stories about their accomplishments in the business world - measuring their worth by the size of their balls. Frank in particular is proud of how well-endowed he is and wants to share that fact with anyone who’ll listen. Hyper-aggressive Derby adamantly claims no one can out-hustle him. And army veteran, Prosperity Gospel preacher Tyquan is confident teamwork will win the day. Of the two women in the group, maneater Serena manipulates bulimic Belinda with talk of female empowerment while dangling the possibility of sexual favors in front of Frank. The inane challenges vary from who can orgasm the fastest to who can cook the tastiest food dish. At all times the contenders are watched over by mute guards clad in riot gear. Escape seems impossible, but Tyquan convinces the others to join in a plan he devises – only to have it blowup through backstabbing betrayal.
All the while, the contestants wonder who is producing the show and for what audience? Twisted Russian oligarchs? No one knows. And with no video cameras or film crew evident is this even a TV show? All is revealed in an appropriately ludicrous ending.
