Synopsis/Details
Pancho is an ex-hitman for a Mexican drug cartel now living in Westlake, LA and working on a landscaping crew. When he gets word that his ex-boss in the cartel has discovered he’s in Los Angeles Pancho knows he’s a dead man. The next day Pancho overreacts to a minor scrap, killing his gardener boss and the owner of a house in Hancock Park. With no plan but to get drunk and watch porn, Pancho moves into the house.
Four Beverly Hills teens lost looking for a party literally run into Pancho on his way to the liquor store. Ignoring his friends’ complaints, one of the teens, Mike, checks on Pancho’s welfare. This leads to the teens becoming hostages in Pancho’s commandeered Hancock Park house.
During the course of the evening Pancho takes out some of his rage on the spoiled rich kids from Beverly Hills. Despite this, Mike and Pancho form a bond, mainly because Mike speaks Spanish and Pancho doesn’t know English. Pancho confesses to Mike he is not so much afraid of dying as he is terrified of going to Hell for the evil things he’s done. Mike assures Pancho he will not be judged for things he was forced to do by cartel higher-ups - ultimately the bosses are the responsible ones. Pancho likes this idea and begins to believe his patron saint Santa Muerte is looking out for him afterall.
When two other Mexican hitmen show up at the house the teens think their ordeal is over rather than just beginning. Flaco and his mentally slow sidekick Gonzalo have been dispatched from Juárez with orders to cut off Pancho’s head and videotape the beheading as proof of the done deed.
Flaco decides he will take one of the Beverly Hills teens for ransom and the other three are expendable. He needs to know which one’s daddy can pay the highest ransom. The teens attempt to outdo one another with tales of their opulent lifestyles in an effort to impress Flaco.
Before the night is out, Pancho will turn the tables on Flaco. Severed body parts, a dog in a microwave and over the top bloodshed follow.
