Synopsis/Details
Four amateur MMA fighters of diverse ethnicities (Shane, T-bone, Kim and Danny) are traveling from New Jersey to a tournament in Memphis. Veteran martial artist Chuck is driving the van when it runs over a bloodhound just outside a defunct warehouse in Kentucky that’s being used as an underground bare knuckle boxing venue. The fights are organized by Boss Hattie, a badass head corrections officer at a for-profit prison in the area. Boss Hattie also happens to be the dead dog’s owner. Fisticuffs between the MMA guys and the locals lead to Boss Hattie accidentally shooting Chuck dead. When the four fighters skedaddle the chase is on.
The guys navigate their way through small town backwoods before coming across Daisy, who becomes their chaperon - until she betrays them in an effort to help her father, an inmate at the prison Boss Hattie runs. It seems everyone in town works for the penitentiary and is under Boss Hattie’s thumb. The guys are captured and brought back to the warehouse brawling venue to fight against prison guards, and then against each other when they prove to be too adept for the guards.
Boss Hattie has already decided the four guys can’t leave Lamar County alive, and so she cold-bloodedly shoots Danny when he refuses to kill Kim at the end of a match. Daisy comes to the rescue and helps the guys escape from the warehouse lockup. Since the local sheriff is Boss Hattie’s brother, they need to get to the next county and Daisy chauffeurs them hidden in a pig trailer. Things go awry at a gas station when drunken high school football players looking for mischief on a Friday night start a brawl.
After surviving that melee, the guys are intercepted in the woods by a couple of not very bright (and somewhat comical) armed militia members, Rooster and Zeke, who are convinced the guys are in cahoots with the federal government. They tie up the guys in a shed for interrogation purposes, but instead Daisy elicits a confession from Rooster (which she secretly records) about how he and Zeke helped the sheriff frame her father for a homicide by tainting moonshine her father brewed.
Daisy and the guys are able to flee once more and hole up at a local high school only to be re-captured and brought back to the warehouse to face a psycho mountain man named Bigfoot who was convicted of slaughtering his entire family. In the finale, the three guys are handcuffed together at both the wrists and ankles and must fight as a trio in a brutal, insane match against Bigfoot.
