Bounty

Bounty is a series that revolves around Jake Murdoch, a bounty hunter in Texas. After his father, Rocky, goes missing in the Gulf of Mexico when his yacht explodes, Rocky suspects something suspicious has happened. His fears are only heightened when a Fed Ex box arrives at his girlfriend's office. The box contains a mysterious satellite phone. Together with his brother Nick, he tries to make sense of the situation, but it doesn’t help when his father’s house is ransacked, Jake is involved in a shooting with a henchman for an unusual drug lord, and Rocky's Last Will turns out to be even more mysterious than the telephone. Meanwhile, the drug lord, Morgan Piersall, is exacting a firm hand on the drug trade in that part of the state, but he’s about to find out that there are thieves in his own den, and that the retributions will lead ultimately to Jake’s doorstep, with threats to his ex-wife Rachel, an FBI agent, and teenage daughter, Allie. Battle lines are drawn, and what follows during the series is an exciting thrill-ride, where our heroes, staring down personal demons and issues, face off against a force hell-bent on destroying them at all costs.
