Synopsis/Details
This is a short film written for, and ultimately winning, a One Week Challenge on Simply Scripts. The parameters of the challenge was that it had to be 5 pages or less and the theme was that it had to be based on a song title. It is set in Las Vegas, where Joe Ferguson is presented with a terminal cancer diagnosis. Given his situation, and current state in life, he makes the decision to sell all his assets and risk everything he owns on one hand of blackjack. This could be filmed on a small budget by a very creative director using stock film footage of Vegas and utilizing tight indoor shots.
