Duty to family or duty to country; what would you choose?
CALLING OUT TO TOMMY is a war drama that explores differing moralities and perspectives of what is wrong and right. Conscripted soldier Tommy Smith deserts his unit when he receives the bittersweet news that his wife, Evie, has given birth but his sick mother has only six weeks to live. Gerhard Garver, a patriotic German PoW, escapes during an air raid and allies himself with Tommy to better his own chances of survival. A relentless pursuit across war-torn France begins, led by Sargent Harold Philips, who abandons orders to satisfy his own personal agenda.
All choices come with consequences; a lesson that all three men will soon learn.
