Synopsis/Details
Brody is 23 years old and a graphic designer of an advertising agency in downtown L.A. He is a shy, traumatized by his childhood, lanky man, who through years of unconsciously suppressed manifestation, helped the legend Freddy Krueger to rise again. Resurrecting him unintentionally, but no longer just in his dreams, this time in the harsh, brutal reality in which Brody tries to keep a cool head.
Brody's real world begins to change because of his dreams. Enters a mutual mind game with his favorite serial killer. After Brody has a not-so-exhilarating "once in a lifetime" moment with superstar Robert Englund at the VHS convention in Springwood, his dislikes, desires and repressed images begin to turn into truth.
Day by day, Brody realizes more that he needs help. That more people around him should not be executed by this sparking blade. That this is not what he wanted. What he thought of. After brain-opening meditation sessions and a beach party that's more like a sandy massacre, some tough and hard-to-digest nightmares, Brody decides to head back to Springwood to work with Doug, his online buddy, to find a solution, a way to stop Freddy.
Brody's confrontation with his childhood hero, sparks an even more deep-seated, hard-hitting feud with Brody and his own self. His fate when he was just seven years old. The thoughts, the drawings of the boy who actually slumbers inside B., and the ever-present sickening feeling when Brody's neighbor appears in his mind, not only leaves Brody shattering his team play with Freddy at the end of his journey, but his only friend Doug must make painfully clear that he must stand by who he is.
It's a realization, an awakening, that delights not only Freddy, but those waiting deep down in the dark, cold places of Brody's subconscious. Freddy is back, opening a seventh chapter, to a whole new saga.
Dreams will come true ends with a cliffhanger that twists the entire story anew and awakens red-funked, sharp, new branches of Freddy's story. Brody will survive and painfully ask himself who else survived in him?
