Synopsis/Details
Jeanquál is introduced as a sophisticated art consultant living a luxurious lifestyle. Through voiceover, he reveals his philosophy about women as art objects and his desire to leave an ‘everlasting image’ on their souls. He rejects his secretary Maggie's advances, explaining his complex criteria for selecting women. At a mall, he encounters and dismisses a forward woman before meeting Jennie, a vulnerable retail worker at a designer suit store. Jeanquál invites Jennie to dinner at his home, using psychological manipulation to gain her trust. During an elaborate dinner, he probes her past traumas and sexual insecurities, positioning himself as someone who can provide the love and satisfaction she seeks. He shares his twisted philosophy about the ‘everlasting image’ men leave during intimate moments, specifically referencing how a man's orgasm becomes seared into a woman's eyes. The evening escalates as Jeanquál seduces Jennie with promises of sexual fulfillment and emotional connection. Jeanquál leads Jennie to his bedroom, which is revealed to be a death trap. As they begin to become intimate, he positions her on the bed where hidden spears impale and kill her. As she dies, he kisses her and speaks of his twisted love. The final reveal shows Jeanquál's basement workshop where he creates artwork using the extracted eyes of his victims. Multiple women's bodies are cemented in the walls, all missing their eyes. His ‘masterpiece’ is a painting created from the irises of all his victims, ensuring his image is the last thing they ever see, achieving his goal of immortality through murder.
