Dean, a mentally impaired man, has to be excused from normal behaviour.

Dean, a mentally impaired man, strikes up a friendship with Gail, who tries to help him discover his past, but Angie. Dean's sister
is so hostile to Dean, Gail has to accompany Dean on his journey of discovery without Angie.

Dean and Gail go to a bridge over a river, and go down the embankment, to meet up with Abby and Todd, who a sharing a
canvas on which they take turns to paint, to create a collaborative painting.

Dean is then struck by a memory of when he was a boy of sixteen, in a swimming bath, but when they go there, the swimming bath
is derelict. Dean still climbs down into the swimming bath, which has no water in it, and walks down to the deep end, but he
cannot remember the significance of the swimming bath in his earlier life.

He later goes to a railway bridge and stands there underneath whilst a train trundles over.

He simply cannot remember enough of his past to make these re-visits of locations from his past to make any real difference to
his condition.

He goes back to Angie who tells him to go back onto his medication. He does so, but it makes him blank.

The Writer: Peter Gartner

I wrote a few screenplays a while back, but now I have a place to submit them. At the moment I am painting in watermixable oils and have a gallery at FineArtAmerica. I am concentrating on art now, but if there is some interest in my screenplays, I could submit more. I start with "The Lightship". I have now posted some more. I want to create original scenarios with surprises for the audience. I do not want my scripts to be predictable. The unusual is always best. A script should be a journey. You don't know the destination, but you will enjoy the journey getting there. I like to explore the psychology of my characters, to give the story more depth. Also, there is now a link to my paintings... Go to bio
