Synopsis/Details
The story ignites during a tense dinner at Patrick’s home, where religious paintings adorn the walls and a polished table holds secrets. As Danielle and Michael exchange uneasy glances, Patrick’s barely contained fury erupts. He confronts them with chilling calm, invoking God’s judgment and promising to handle the situation. In a shocking twist, he toasts to "new beginnings," only to reveal he has laced their wine with roofies. As they collapse, the scene cuts to a horrifying escalation.
In an abandoned distribution building, Patrick’s descent into madness unfolds. Drunk and clad in black, he binds Michael and Danielle in a grotesque tableau, using piano wire and a conveyor belt to inflict unimaginable torment. Quoting Exodus 20:17—“Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife”—he executes a sadistic punishment, decapitating Danielle and mutilating Michael, all while their daughter Bridgette’s unwitting discovery of their infidelity video fuels his rage.
Three weeks later, Patrick stands in a cemetery, arm around young Bridgette, projecting strength as a preacher eulogizes the deceased. To the outside world, he is a grieving widower leaning on faith, but the truth is far darker. At home, he serves Danielle’s cooked remains as a "roast" to Bridgette, masking his cannibalistic act with paternal care. As he preaches again, his stomach growls with satisfaction, hinting at a man who believes he’s cleansing the world of sin.
