Synopsis/Details
The film opens with a flash-forward: Marie sits calmly with a Desert Eagle as police storm their bedroom, setting up the tragic conclusion before revealing how we arrived there. Rewinding to "the day before," we meet Marie and Tyler, a seemingly happy newlywed couple. Their morning routine reveals deep intimacy and sexual chemistry. Marie works at a bank while Tyler works as a mechanic. Their relationship appears solid, built on passion and mutual devotion. The Affair Begins: At the auto garage, Tyler encounters an attractive woman with car trouble. Despite her initial attitude, he charms her into staying for repairs. Their flirtation is immediate and obvious. Marie's Loyalty: While Tyler begins his affair, Marie demonstrates her devotion by comforting a coworker whose husband is hospitalized. She texts Tyler about her whereabouts, maintaining open communication - a stark contrast to his deception. The Discovery: That night, Marie returns home early to find a strange car in their driveway. Instead of confronting Tyler directly, she circles to their bedroom window and witnesses him sleeping with the other woman. She watches in anguish as Tyler escorts his lover out, sharing passionate kisses at the car. The Deception: Tyler immediately calls Marie, pretending concern for her friend while asking when she'll be home. Marie, devastated but controlled, plays along, saying she'll be home in ten minutes. The conversation ends with a hollow "I love you's" that now carries deadly weight. The Confrontation: The next morning, Marie sits on the bed's edge, having made her decision. She leaves and returns with a Desert Eagle, pressing it to Tyler's temple as he sleeps. When he awakens, she calmly asks if "that bitch was worth your life."
