Synopsis/Details
Reaching is a tragic redemption story told over two lifetimes, about a young man desperate to erase a decision made decades ago.
Non-linear in its storytelling, this short takes place within two different wars: WW2 and modern-day Afghanistan.
My hope is to explore this idea as a feature at some point. But, I'm sharing it here in case someone wants to tell a big story in a small way, perhaps even as a larger proof-of-concept project.
It would definitely be a challenge to make this short, as it contains multiple scenes of war across different generations. But, if you like a challenge, or perhaps want to show your directing chops for stories set in war environments, this short might be for you.
