Synopsis/Details

Ryan “Falcon” Foster is an elite Navy SEAL sniper who has survived combat, stared down death, and built his reputation on never showing fear. Cocky, heavily decorated, and never one to refuse a challenge, Falcon boasts that there is no enemy—living or dead—that he cannot handle.

His confidence is put to the ultimate test when he is dared to spend an entire night alone inside a notorious abandoned mansion. The reward is $25,000, but the house carries a far darker history: unexplained deaths, terrifying apparitions, and stories of visitors who entered its doors but never emerged unchanged.

Certain the legends are nothing more than superstition, Falcon accepts. Armed with military weapons, tactical equipment, and the skills that have kept him alive in the world’s deadliest combat zones, he enters the mansion expecting an easy payday. But as darkness closes around him, the house begins to reveal its secrets.

Shadows move without bodies. Voices whisper from empty rooms. Doors close on their own, corridors seem to shift, and spectral figures emerge from the darkness only to disappear before Falcon can confront them. Every new encounter strips away another layer of his confidence, forcing him to question whether the terrors surrounding him are real—or whether the mansion has found a way inside his mind.

Falcon soon discovers that bullets, training, and physical strength offer little protection against an enemy that cannot be seen, understood, or killed. Trapped inside a nightmare that grows more visceral and psychologically devastating with each passing hour, he must confront the difference between genuine courage and reckless bravado.

To survive until sunrise, Falcon will have to face the one adversary his years as a Navy SEAL never prepared him to defeat: true, uncontrollable fear.

SEAL: GHOST RECON is a dark, atmospheric supernatural horror feature that combines the mounting dread of a classic haunted-house story with the psychological intensity of a modern urban legend. At its center is a deeply flawed but relatable warrior whose greatest strengths become useless against an imposing supernatural threat determined to test his courage—and shatter his sanity.

The Writer: Gary Rose

I’m an multi-optioned screenwriter who, in a previous life, served as a police detective, mastering the delicate art of negotiating hostage situations. Retirement led me down a different path—teaching and writing—a journey that began with my first non-fiction book, which became an Amazon best-seller. That success ignited my passion for storytelling and introduced the world to my indomitable protagonist, FBI agent Jeannie Loomis. Believing that the ends justify the means, Jeannie has become the heart of a gripping 18-novel thriller series. My historical fiction script The Beautiful Beast was selected as a quarter-finalist in the 2025 PAGE competition. The Phantom Train script was selected in… Go to bio
