Synopsis/Details
Sierra Nevada, 1881: timid English rose Charlotte returns to town to meet her lover, Savannah. Having been disowned by her family because of her love for another girl, Savannah is the only thing Charlotte has left in her life, but within days the beautiful mine owner is murdered by the vicious Danton brothers, who ruined Charlotte’s family and killed Savannah’s father.
After narrowly surviving a suicide attempt, Charlotte tries to rebuild her shattered life with the help of her loyal maid Róisín and Savannah’s maid Elena, and she discovers she has been bequeathed Savannah’s gold mine. The inheritance has put her right at the top of the Dantons’ hit list, and their intimidating attempts to acquire the mine become violent in short order…but they have reckoned without Savannah’s unquiet spirit, and the protective poltergeist can be every bit as brutal as they are…
