Synopsis/Details
On a quiet Sunday, two families, the Stevensons and the Smiths, are having a picnic near a forest, close to some hills. The children are very excited because they have been given a drone capable of taking videos. While playing with it, they lose control, and the drone disappears beyond the woods. Just before heading home, the toy reappears, and they manage to retrieve it. In the evening, Adam Smith watches the footage taken while the drone was out of reach and notices a truly unusual shot. Perhaps the wreckage of a crashed plane. He informs Morgan Stevenson, and with an excuse to their wives, they go out to investigate. They find the place and discover that it's not a plane, but the wreckage of a flying saucer, wedged into the rock at the foot of the hill. Adam decides to investigate and enters the craft, while Morgan waits outside, more fearful. The man who emerges from the flying saucer behaves strangely and seems rather absent-minded. He brushes off his friend's questions, explaining that the wreckage is probably from a movie set and that there was nothing inside. In reality, Adam has been replaced by a viscious alien lifeform, which try to lure the Smiths one by one to the alien vehicle, to have them replaced as well. Something very strange is going to happen and the Stevensons are the next in line. The invasion has begun.
