Synopsis/Details
Four students, Mel, Sue, Nick and Dave occupy an old house. They discuss paranormal activity, such as telekinesis and telepathy. Sue says parapsychology has no scientific basis. Dave reckons it could be something to do with Quantum Entanglement. Dave and Nick take some old equipment from a lab basement at the university to replicate an old experiment done in the 1960's, to test the theory of Quantum Entanglement. Weird things start to happen when the experiment goes wrong. Nick's brain falls out in a gooey liquid, which Sue saves in a jug. Mel starts to levitate when she drinks some of Nick's brain, but loses her feet, which end up in the bathroom upstairs. The washing machine mutates into a semi-human entity which demands to smoke, so they have to buy some cigarettes for it. Dave calls Einstein through his smart phone, which turns into a time portal. Einstein travels forwards in time to arrive at the house, to offer help. A physician-surgeon re-injects Nick's brain into his skull and he recovers. He then sews Mel's feet back on and she is restored. Dave is then shredded by an oversized paper shredder, and Sue is murdered by an invisible man. Einstein uses a clock to reverse the time distortion and Dave's shredded body is restored to normal and he lives again. Sue's murder is put into reverse and she lives again. The washing machine mutant is visited by the Magic Cigarette, a taking cigarette, which talks him into quitting. Einstein then disappears and the four students are left wondering if it was all a dream. There is no physical evidence that the weird things ever happened.

The Writer: Peter Gartner

I wrote a few screenplays a while back, but now I have a place to submit them. At the moment I am painting in watermixable oils and have a gallery at FineArtAmerica. I am concentrating on art now, but if there is some interest in my screenplays, I could submit more. I start with "The Lightship". I have now posted some more. I want to create original scenarios with surprises for the audience. I do not want my scripts to be predictable. The unusual is always best. A script should be a journey. You don't know the destination, but you will enjoy the journey getting there. I like to explore the psychology of my characters, to give the story more depth. Also, there is now a link to my paintings… Go to bio
