Logline:
When a hard-drinking private eye is hired by a movie producer’s wife to investigate his murder, she gets framed for killing him and has to confront her inner demons in order to solve the crime.
Synopsis/Details:

We first meet private eye Carrie Love and her girlfriend Felina Bella Donna, part time dominatrix and full-time MI6 operative, at Club Fuck dancing their asses off and pounding drinks, having a blast. But when a would-be transgender lover discovers his date doesn’t have a penis, he pulls out a gun. Carrie diffuses the situation and she and Felina head out into the night.

The next morning, Carrie discovers Felina has unexpectedly left for London, leaving her in the lurch. Just as she pours a shot of bourbon for breakfast, she gets a call from Gay Flender, the wife of a Hollywood TV movie producer, who wants to hire her to find her missing husband Harvey. Carrie meets with her at her Santa Monica estate and takes the case.

Next we meet wannabe horror film director/hit man Phillie Pfugg and his bodybuilder wife Chinette, who shoot a fake snuff film that ‘accidentally’ becomes a real one. But Phillie is unfazed, and decides to use the footage anyway. And if his recent penis enlargement surgery would heal quicker, he could celebrate with Chinette.

Carrie meets with Harvey’s quirky employees and his former partner Roland Yavo at his production company, and runs into Jenny Lane, a comely assistant who she had a one-night stand with. After grilling the oddballs – except for attorney Modi Farhat, who hides in his office -- Carrie and Jenny head off for dinner and drinks, where more than sparks fly, but when Carrie takes Jenny home to her place around the corner, she’s horrified to find out that her vintage bungalow is flames.

Shortly thereafter, Roland meets with Hub Flower, a producer from New Orleans in a dive bar down the street who is jacking up the budget on their next film so he can pocket the difference.

As the case progresses, Carrie enlists the help of her ex-husband, homicide detective Bernie Keko when her neighbor is murdered and she becomes a suspect. Tagging along is Bernie’s partner Aya Meier, an abusive Israeli expat that has the hots for Bernie. After following some clues, Carrie finds Roland’s dead body in a motel room, and quickly becomes a suspect.

Meanwhile, closeted gay Christian filmmaker Ken Rice is shooting a porno that features Roland’s crossdresser son Nicki, which doesn’t go according to plan when Roland calls Nicki on the phone and disowns him. Then, things soon turn dire when Carrie is accused of killing another one of her neighbors who used to complain about her wild parties.

Meanwhile, Gay has a tryst with Modi, where we learn that they hired Phillie to kill Harvey, but later on ‘changed their mind,’ unfortunately a little too late.

Recuperating from losing her home, Carrie and Jenny bond at Jenny’s joint and make love. The next morning, Carrie puts the pieces together and races over to Gay’s house to confront her, where all the various players’ stories converge into an explosive, bullet-riddled finale of epic proportions when Carrie learns that Jenny was the killer. It seems that during their ‘wild night’ after the Christmas party, Carrie professed her love for Jenny, and then passed out. Now obsessed with her, she stalked her and then framed Carrie for all the murders.

A dysfunctional detective. A psychotic femme fatale. Five suspects. Three murders.

Just another day on Wilshire. The boulevard of broken necks.
