Synopsis/Details
Lauren Hendon, a successful but emotionally weary corporate travel coordinator, returns to Snow Plains with her children, Aiden and Molly, for Christmas in her late father’s house. Her plans are upended when her estranged brother Hugh claims he has power of attorney and intends to demolish the house to build a strip mall -- just days before Christmas.
While Lauren struggles to hold onto the home and the past it represents, a stranger named Kris appears, warm-hearted and eccentric, with an uncanny knowledge of Lauren’s life and her childhood. As she reconnects with Blake, an old high school acquaintance turned successful businessman, Lauren begins to rediscover the simple joys of community, family, and faith.
Despite Hugh’s ruthless actions -- including forging their father's signature -- Lauren finds the strength to challenge him, emotionally and legally. With the children’s belief in Santa burning bright, Kris begins to show signs that he’s more than meets the eye, subtly nudging everyone toward redemption. Even Hugh, embittered by years of resentment, is ultimately softened by the love of his niece and a painful confrontation with his past.
A final Christmas miracle reveals the truth: Kris is Santa Claus, returning Lauren’s long-lost childhood letter -- and the doll she wished for decades ago. With the forged sale nullified and the family home saved thanks to Blake’s secret fortune and generous heart, Snow Plains celebrates its most magical Christmas ever.
A Snow Plains Christmas is a heartwarming holiday tale of faith, family, forgiveness, and the enduring magic of belief.
