Synopsis/Details
Deep in the remote Adirondack wilderness, history enthusiast Henry Braden leads his teenage son Cole and their small crew of amateur explorers to a rumored colonial settlement site. They set up camp and begin filming their discoveries for a documentary-style web series. What begins as an innocent adventure turns unsettling when Cole uncovers a sunken foundation and a series of odd, unnatural tree formations. Their excitement grows as they find silver artifacts—arrowheads, a military button from the 60th Royal American Regiment, a ceremonial talisman, and most disturbingly, a grotesque silver effigy of a bound warrior, mouth open in a silent scream. Despite a warning from an offsite historian, the team removes a tomahawk embedded in a skull and a stone jammed in its mouth, unknowingly breaking a ritual seal. That night, war drums echo through the trees. Ghostly visions replay long-dead horrors. And from the woods, undead warriors rise—bound in death to their master: Hooh-Strah-Dooh, a legendary Wyandot vampire slain in the 1750s. Trapped in their makeshift barricade, cut off from the outside world, the group fights to survive until sunrise. As their numbers dwindle and trust fractures, Cole discovers the effigy’s true purpose: not a relic, but a warning. With redbud trees forming the only protective barrier, and the undead now breaching their camp, the survivors must decide what they believe—and whether history can be rewritten, or is doomed to repeat in blood. And beneath it all, something ancient still hungers.

Script Coverage: RECOMMEND (screenplay and writer) by Screenplay Staffing. "It keeps the momentum moving, raises the stakes at every turn which has a real potential to keep the viewer engaged throughout... the tension and the suspense builds evenly and pushes the thrills and chills. The myriad of characters, the foreboding world, and the ‘wicked things’ work well together to deliver a creepy story with ominous undertones. Given that it is released during a prime slot not in conjunction with a large budget, tent pole franchise film, a film such as this is primed to do well."
