Synopsis/Details
At a country rodeo, a black cloud forms on the horizon as a cowboy prepares to ride Pharaoh, a huge black Brahman bull with unusual white markings. Rico, a concerned spectator, recognises Pharaoh as the Apis bull of Egyptian mythology, but McIntyre, a portly stock contractor, dismisses the wild claims, explaining the bull was found in the scrub following a series of bizarre outbreaks. The gate opens, and the bull rider’s arm is torn clean off. Rico jumps into the arena in an attempt to distract the bull, holding his jacket like a matador’s cape. A scarab pendant glistens on his bare chest that along with his arms is tattooed in mysterious hieroglyphics. He manages to shoot Pharaoh with a concealed revolver, but as McIntyre tries to thank him, Rico raises his hands to the heavens and is surrounded by a swarm of locusts, for to kill a god is to become a god!
