Synopsis/Details
Charlie Aquarius is a rainmaker with unearthly talents who goes around to save grateful farmers from ruin by selling them rain showers. As Charlie arrives in Las Vegas, he falls for Lottie, an attractive cocktail waitress who introduces him to the most notorious vulture in town, Harlan Boggs. Charlie is hoodwinked into making rain and then prosecuted to life in prison for causing the worst flood disaster. While Charlie suffers in prison, Lottie gives birth to his son, Johnny Aquarius who unhappily grows up with two abusive parents. When Johnny turns six, he is unexpectedly visited by a spacecraft and learns that his father, Charlie was an IPO (Inter-Planetary-Observer) for the planet Dura. The Duranian tell Johnny that they want to take him away in order to prepare him to follow in the footsteps of his father as a new IPO. Twenty years later, Johnny returns back to Earth fully equipped with all the implanted powers of making rain, invisibility and ‘Timed Memory Erase’. Johnny visits his dying father in prison and vows to seek justice and pursue the people responsible.
